Steel chicken wire includes two types: low carbon steel hexagonal mesh and stainless steel hexagonal wire mesh. Low carbon steel also named as soft steel, although low strength, low hardness, and rusty easily, has good toughness. Although stainless steel hexagonal mesh has higher price than low carbon steel, it can resistant to corrosion, rust, oxidation, has smooth surface without clear up. It can be used as chicken wire, rockfall netting, stucco netting, gabion basket and gabion sack.
